Same-sex marriage

             In recent years, more and more people are paying attention on the complex relationship among people. At the same time, same-sex marriage has been a hot topic among a lot of people. From my point of view, I think it would be fine for the people who want to.

             First, some people born like the way they do not want to be but they have to face it. People can not avoid their naturally. As other people around, what we can do is just respect them. Lady Gaga have a song which named < born this way> is about this kind of issue. No matter what kind of people you are, no matter what special quality you have, you can be a super star and that is the way you born.

             Second, as candidate require, during that time, always all the candidates support same-sex marriage since their needs. The District of Columbia and 47 states have anti-hate crime laws, however only 24 states and the District of Columbia include sexual orientation in their legislation. Present candidate  have to support it because of there is a big number of citizens like that. Present candidate just need more people support himself to be the present. On the other hand, as the present support same-sex marriage, more and more people regard it as a normal stuff as well.

            Third, it is not easy to stop such a lot of people. Now days, it is not hard to find a gay around the campus. For example, couple of people who is my friend are willing to marry a same-sex person. While gay couples are seen on TV shows more often than in the past , affection between the two is restricted to holding hands, playing with one another’s neck scarves and sharing meaningful looks. This wouldn’t be odd if heterosexual couples were not shown kissing on a regular basis. Same- sex marriage has become a new kinds of relationship for this generation. Even some people act as a person like that only follow the " fashion".

            Therefore, since there are too many reasons that we can not stop it, from my point of view, support it for the person who naturally born like that, however, if you are not born like that way, to be normal to marry a different-sex person is better.

My goal

             Time is flying, before I can remember, my youth has almost finished. Looking at the way to my future, there 's so many choices and mysteries. However, no matter what kind of  destiny I have, I will try to achieve my own goal and be my own boss. As a result, I want to be independent and have a good working career.
             First, being independent is an effective way to motivate myself to study. As I am a student right now, anyway study is the most important thing for me. Actually, there are a lot of friends around me who don't know the reason why they need to study. If a person just follow parents' step doing what they want to, of course there would have no motivation and make no sense. So I tell myself that my goal is to be a success person through education and knowledge but not parents.
             Second, to be independent and have a job to do is necessary for a lady. When it was old time in my country, people thought ladies should be a housewife, for instance, they could not have their own social network and friends, all they need to do was take care of  the house and husband, babies. From my point of view, even though it is new century now, there are still a lot of families like that. However, as a lady, I don't want to be one of them, I don't want to lose my own life to make myself out of the society. What' s more? After long time study at home, lady will lose their glamour as a woman and turn to a mom. All in all, my goal will access to balance family relationship and life enrichment.
             Third, by the time working and doing everything myself. I also get a benefit which is stimulate my brain. As I opened my horizon, when something happened, I won't be flurry, pretty and timid. Without vulnerability, I will estimate the advantage and disadvantage, analyze the problem instead of make a decision by intuition.
             There were no guarantee for everyone to be success. In my case, I will exclude all the bumps on my way and keep on working hard, then it will not the inevitable to be success. Therefore, to be independent, work in a stable way, enjoy my life are the goals what I will try to work out in 10 years.

The Oprah Effect

                Oprah Winfrey, was born on January 29, was the most important women globally and also the first African American billionaire. Her spirit and words has influenced a generation---no matter what kind of background you were, you have opportunity to be a success person. I learned couple of things from her.
               
                First,set yourself high goals." Success just does not come by chance." Oprah amassed her wealth by worked hard and by set ambitious and distinct targets on both the professional and personal levels. “The big secret in life is that there’s no big secret”, Oprah added. “Whatever your aim, you will get there if you’re willing to work”. As a result, whenever I felt hard to achieve my goal, I was always thinking about her word, even though probably we have different life but what I learned from her is to challenge myself to be a better person.
              
               Second, be responsible for your life. “We’re each responsible for our own life – no one else is or even could be”, shared Oprah. You shouldn’t allow people, events, and any unmanageable variables stand in the way between you and your dreams. Before, when I was failed to do something or involved in trouble, blaming people around me was the first thing I usually did. After knowing her story, I told myself to be my own boss and try to make decision myself, took care the responsibility myself. Parents and friends shouldn't be the excuse to rely on.


              Third,making your contribution to the society. Giving back to the community and to the whole world. “Just what I know beyond doubt is that whatever you give returns back to you”, convened Oprah. She definitely has managed to be humble and compassionate while registering her increasing profits. She loved to give back to her very own community and also to the poverty stricken communities around the world. Nevertheless, there's a lot of people tend to believe that as a individual in the word, taking care of himself and family members is the only thing they need to do. So what I learned is what comes around goes around, if you make contribute to the society, sooner or later you will find that more benefits come back to you.


              Therefore, Oprah Winfrey is the person who effected me a lot. From my point of view, her own life was  free lessons for all this generation. Not only changed the media field but also changed people's life style. That's also the reason why people love her so much around the world. 
               

Type of me.

           No single personality type applies perfectly to a person, but for me on comes closer than all the others. The personality category that fits me most closely is type B. First, type B are extroverts which means this kind of people always love to be a center in group. From my experience, that is because type B person who scared to be forget and to be alone.
          Second, type B person love to entertain people. There are a lot of good examples of my friends. Just like me, I always like to have fun with friends rather than myself. I like to talking funny stuff. In addition, I also love to challenge turn silent guy to funny.
          Third, people who in type B often gravitate toward jobs in sales or marketing. In the past years, I had tried to be a salesperson as part-time job severals times, not in a surprise, I was very good at social with different kinds of people.
          What's more? Among my friends, I always act myself as a advisor, No matter what kind of problems my friends are facing to, they are like to call me getting some suggestions. Even though I felt that I was not very smart on my own situation. But actually I really get skills to help people go through in trouble.
           Saving the best to the last, I believe that friends always make me feel living. Opposite from people who are introvert, it's a very exciting thing to be with my friends. Therefore, no matter what kind of person you are, just follow your heart, do whatever you want, either quiet or charming, there will always a way for you.

        Recently, the famous interviewer Anderson Cooper made an interview with Adele, who is 23 years old, eight Grammy award winner in 2011. From the interview, we know that Adele's song sells more than 18 million copies which indeed was a big success. However, compare all the modern skinny looking stars, Adele keeps her own style. And also, most of people like her as her special voice and the lyrics. Audiences are easy to feel the same feeling from her song. Her songs are singing about love, lost, heart broken in angry. Adele said those all from the hurt her ex-boyfriend gave her. Lucky, she fall in love with a much better man now, but Anderson Cooper wonder if she can write "sad song" as better as before.
        It's never easy to be success. Adele lost her voice in last November and December, At first, she felt some problem when she switch voice, she can't sing smoothly. As a result, she has to stop talking so that she use APP software instead. What's more? She rent a very big and privacy house in the country side in England, where has two swimming pools and ten bedrooms ( nine bedrooms are over need ), and virally no furniture inside. What Adele need is  just looking for private space for her and her lovely dog. 
       Therefore, one of her most famous song" Someone like you" has been an idiot song among a lot of people. For keeping up with all the new songs come out, Adele was working as a part-time seller in a music record store. Hope that special experience will motivate her makes more beautiful songs. We will also still keep eyes on her.

Fast equal to health?

           With the high develop of technology today, sometime effective is the key access to success. As a result, fast food seems have more customers than other food stores. However, is that good for people's health?
           From my point of view, we will never forget the benefit since fast food come to the market. First, the low price, almost everybody can afford a meal with meat. Second, without waiting long time, people can eat their lunch during the break and have extra time to relax,but in some other restaurants,by the time people got their food, time is almost up, so that people have to hurry up eat and back to work. Third, combing food and entertainment together enrich people's meal time.
           On the other hand, fast food is not good for the most important thing in our life--- health. No balance nutrition and too much fry and oil could cause people weak. What's more, the over cream and meat are full of chlorate could cause high blood and many terrible disease.
           Therefore, even though fast food have a lot of advantage part for people, the disadvantage part are murderer who kill our health. That's why I prefer do not eat that much fast food. 

Why people need astronomical projects?

                With the high speed develop of technology, now-days human-being is not only a nation whose goal is basic living stuff, but also able to search somewhere outside the earth. At the same time, if  governments should spend that much money for building telescopes and sponsoring astronomical projects  has been a hot issue among a lot of people. In my opinion, I turn to believe government could support them as the following reasons:
                First of all, astronomical research can avoid potential catastrophe from outer space. As we know, the reason cause dinosaur extinct is comet hit the earth. Just in case something happen like that, do research will help scientists analyzes and do some prediction. From that point, the advantage of doing research is obvious and it seems worth to use money to do something could save human.
               Second, It will be a good example for next generation. Image when kids studying about astronomic, teacher tell students that the research on astronomic have been stopped cause money issue. Most of the kids will admire that astronomic is not an important subject so that government give up to pay any cent on it. As a result, kids and parents are easy to regard being a scientist in astronomic field will have no future. Astronomic will never be improved.
               Finally, for individual person's goal and human-beings dream. The person who get new information about astronomic may have feeling of fulfillment. What's more? Searching outer space is one of the most significant dream for human from hundreds years ago. However, the price of projects is expensive. There should have no excuse to give up the dream from last generation. 
              Therefore, from my point of view, I prefer to keep building telescopes and sponsoring astronomical projects for avoid potential catastrophe, build a good example for next generation and continue human-beings dream.

How I deal with a difficult situation

              In recent years, more and more students have opportunities to study aboard. At the same time, there is a common language problem among a lot of people. I also have this kind of issue in the first couple of months, there are some suggestions about how I deal with this difficult situation. Hope can help you a little bit.


              First of all, join school activities as much as you can. As a international student, the first and most important thing you need to figure out is learning language. We all know that language is a kind of subject that the more you practice, the better you will be. Walking in the campus, everyone can be your teacher. But how to make friends with them? Join school activities. Every school have a lot of activities groups in different catalogs for enrich students free time. By the time you go to the activity, prepare what you may talking about and how to leave people a good impression. Since you got friends, you can hang out with them or even text message in English. You will surprise yourself the speed your language enhanced.
      
              Second, use media resource. One thing do not forget is, you are in the US now! So go ahead to use all the media resource you can get. For example, Every morning after you wake up, turn on the radio so that you can listening some news while preparing food. During the time driving, listen a music channel such as "i heart radio", relax yourself and learn different entertainment culture. There are also many other ways to use free media resource. Watching basketball games on TV, movies or even carton. You will always find words which you do not understand. It's a good way to find links between study and entertainment.


              The last one is keep study yourself. Never think that you can learn language well only from activities and media. Take time review the knowledge you learned is also significant. What's more? Another resource people can use is library. Borrow book from your school library. Accumulate skills how people write essays in this country, write down new vocabularies and turn it to yours. Then practice using it with English-language people. Practice makes perfect.


              Therefore, join activities, use media resource and keep review and reading are how I deal with a difficult language situation. That's not all you can do, but if you have no idea about the problem, at least you can try it. Maybe on the process you trying, you can find your own way which are better than mine.

The article I like

              There's not too much information about American articles in my mind, the only one I feel familiar is Sara Shepard. I have been reading her book named <Pretty Little Secrets> for a week. This book is New York times bestselling series and the plot attract me a lot.
              The story is among four junior year girls---Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Spencer. And that Alison;s murderer is in jail and A is dead, they can finally relax. Little do they know there's a new A in town.....Get to know what they behavior, watch these liars day and night, keeping an eye on the trouble they get into, the messes they make, and the secrets they keep.
             First time I know this story is from the TV, after I came to the USA, I find this book and want to read it to learn English. During the time I reading, I felt this article is full of imagine and know how to attract people's heart. It is indeed an example of success article. 

Advice to international students

                As we know, starting a new language, you have to have four skills which are listening, speaking, reading and writing. Among them, the most useful skills are listening and speaking because of they are the key to start communicating with people. And also, listening and speaking are most difficult for international students to study and practice. The language environment is a big problem.


                When I was in my country, studying English meant go to an English class, did grammar practice and wrote an essay to learn vocabulary. So there was a common problem, students could not open their mouths! Every time I tried to talk with foreigners, my brain turned blank and felt nervous. Even though I spoke something, I felt that the English speaking person could not understand what I meant. That really made me unconfident and spoke less and less. After discussed with my friends, I found out that I am not the only person who had that kind of experience. As a result, I decided to go aboard to study real English. What I need was an English environment and even breath "English style air" every day.


                For the first couple of weeks here, I felt quite nervous to talk with people. What's more? It's really hard for me to hear clearly people's regular speed of speaking! Being unconfident and shy by nature, made me always feel embarrassed. I turned to ask friends to helped me, for example, order food, buy books, talk with teachers and so on. But my teacher told me that I have to leave my friend to be independent. Slowly and slowly, I found that I do not need my friend to help me any more. I can order food myself, go shopping myself, communicate with people confidently and naturally. I am not sure from what time, I began to use English everyday and never feel uncomfortable. The advantage of learning English is obvious.


               I will never forget that how much people helped me on my way learning English. People in the US are friendly and easy-going. For instance, every time I meet people on the street, they always smile and say hello to me. Teachers are very patient to answer our questions even though it was a quite a stupid question from my eyes now. If I was lost, people would stop their work and take me to the place. All the things above make me feel that I am not a stranger here. Therefore, I really suggest international students come to study in the US. If you are a person like me----want to enhance yourself, challenge yourself, have dream, the US is the only place can make your dream come true!

Comparing my hometown, the environment here is much more clean and the weather is warmer.The reason why I came here is for my further education, as my major before is Japanese language which is not a kind of strong skill to find a good job. One year after I graduated, I decided to come to the USA where the education system is best in the world. Recently, my goal is finish the ESL class by this semester so that I can start studying MBA from September. I am eager to step in my dream class.
